Welcome to Libby Allex Studio! My name is Libby, and I'm the artist and owner. I am a homeschool mom of 2 talented baseball boys and I'm married to my wonderful husband that supports me in every way. I love all things crafty, but my passion for watercolor has grown as I've gained more confidence and appreciation for it. I have been drawing since I was very young (even kept little portfolios of my favorites), but I found my love for watercolor as a young adult. My grandmother was a talented watercolor artist, and she was my inspiration to learn. I never imagined I would enjoy it as much as I do! I am so thankful and blessed to be able to share this side of my life with others. A lot of time, attention, and care goes into all of my work, but I take special care and attention when it comes to portraits of beloved pets. I love to capture the personality that makes each of them so unique. I have a love for animals, so it just makes sense that I would also love to paint them!
